2,000 S.H.O.E.: The S.H.O.E. is Only Fitting

by Barry Shulman

3-5 guys at Lucky Chances are either big time players or huge action players. They play 1-1-2 on occasion waiting for 3-5 to open or switching games up. You'll see them bring their $5 chips to the table. If they splash the pot a lot, they're probably the action players (re-raise all-in a lot).

Pros: Great food, clean, free coffee and tea. Open tables, good variety and decent players, lots of TVs / big screens.

Cons: A lot of their staff plays, occasionally tip offs - which is noticeable at times, chips are sticky, chairs are not comfortable, table service could be better, much banter from the regulars.

Notes: Cash poker games are fun ONLY on nights and weekends. Tourneys are great, good mix of all skills, and ages. Watch out for the disrespectful banter from the hot shot transients. SFO airport is less than 10 minutes away.

Good luck!
