Florida has three types of gambling facilities, Native American owned casinos, casino cruise ships and racetracks. The legal gambling age is 21, but sometimes it is 18 to bet on the dog races or bingo. The two largest casinos in Florida are Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood and Hard Rock Hotel in Tampa. The Native American owned casinos are similar to Las Vegas with all the typical gambling games like slot machines, blackjack, craps, roulette, poker and some are complete resorts with hotels, spas, golf, and entertainment.
The gambling cruise ships offer a unique experience because you are at sea on a large ship offering all the typical casino games and usually a buffet. The Discovery Sun is a special experience because it is day trip sailing to the Bahamas and back.
Florida has both horse and dog tracks with most also offering poker. Five of the tracks are racinos which also have slot machines, but poker is the only table game.
